Winter campers, rejoice: The world finally has a sleeping bag that you can wear. Lippi USA's Selk Sleepwear System (www.lippioutdoor.com) was made for comfort, warmth and mobility, allowing wearers to walk around camp, prepare food or use a restroom -- all without stepping out of your cozy cocoon.
You can lie down to sleep wherever you choose, in a tent or under the stars, although a pad is recommended.
The sleeping-bag suit will be available in three warmth levels and two sizes when it comes to market next month, fitting large and small campers and designed for temps down to about 15 degrees F.
Made with polyester or duck down insulation and a nylon face fabric, the bag has foot areas reinforced with thick nylon that are designed to not tear even when the wearer walks on rocks.
The bags come in green, brown, black, red, yellow, white or blue. Prices are $149 to $349, depending on warmth level and size.
