Thank you, Internet. We can now read a (curmudgeonly) self-help book by a famous cat.

"The Grumpy Guide to Life: Observations by Grumpy Cat" hit bookstore shelves today. Fans of feline memes can now put them on the coffee table. The best place to display it? Right next to Grumpy Cat's first book, "Grumpy Cat: A Grumpy Book," which was a New York Times' bestseller.

By all accounts, Grumpy Cat is actually quite pleasant. Her real name is Tardar Sauce and she was perfectly content as a star attraction last year at the Minnesota State Fair. Her owner, Tabatha Bundesen, told the Star Tribune, "She looks grumpy, she really isn't though."

In her latest book, the dour-faced YouTube star pulls together a collection of photos of herself and advice for those who prefer not to look at the bright side, including:

"The Internet is a very efficient way to waste time."

"People are like balls of yarn. For the most part they're boring and useless, but I still get a lot of pleasure out of watching them unravel.

"Let sleeping dogs lie. Otherwise they'll wake up and try to cuddle with you and that's just terrible."

If you feel like this is an absolutely necessary addition to your library, the book will set you back $12.95. No guarantee that your purchase will make Grumpy Cat happy.
