Another government site for gas saving tips is aptly named www.fueleconomy.gov, created by the U.S. Department of Energy.

You can challenge a half-dozen friends to a saving gas challenge at www.drivesmarterchallenge.org, a site put together by the Alliance to Save Energy and Exxon Mobil.
