Product recalls: Hello Kitty sweatshirts, caramel snacks

The following recalls have been announced:

_ 1,200 Hello Kitty zip-up hooded sweatshirts, manufactured in China and distributed by NTD Apparel of Los Angeles, because they have hood drawstrings, posing a strangulation hazard to children. No incidents have been reported. The sweatshirts were sold at Macy's and Dillard's stores around the country between November 2008 and December 2008. _ Snax In Pax Inc. of Topeka, Ind., is recalling select caramel corn and caramel puff snacks because they contain milk that is not listed with the ingredients. This could be dangerous for people with milk allergies. No reactions have been reported. The recalled items were distributed nationwide. Details: by phone at 260-593-3066.
