The following recalls have been announced:

_ 1,200 Hello Kitty zip-up hooded sweatshirts, manufactured in China and distributed by NTD Apparel of Los Angeles, because they have hood drawstrings, posing a strangulation hazard to children. No incidents have been reported. The sweatshirts were sold at Macy's and Dillard's stores around the country between November 2008 and December 2008. _ Snax In Pax Inc. of Topeka, Ind., is recalling select caramel corn and caramel puff snacks because they contain milk that is not listed with the ingredients.
