Reddit does an about-face, sort of
Six months ago, Reddit was widely criticized for allowing users to post leaked nude celebrity photos on its site. The ever-defiant social giant eventually took the images down, saying they violated copyright — not people's privacy. This week, Reddit backpedaled a bit. It issued a major change to its privacy policy, prohibiting the posting of sexually explicit images of people without their permission.
