Pick of the week: Yoga gear

Last update: August 16, 2008 - 2:43 PM

CorePower Yoga, 7495 France Av. S., Edina, 952-835-9642

New locations of heated yoga clubs have been popping up faster than you can say namaste. Yet it seems almost impossible to find interesting yoga/exercise clothes beyond basic black. The newest CorePower features an in-store boutique with everything you need for living a zen lifestyle or simply striking a pose. To sweat in: Try this tank ($74) and pants ($115) at left by Margarita. Then accessorize with a Yogitoes skidless premium mat ($60), an Oona Sera yoga bag ($60) and Sigg aluminum water bottle ($23). Run errands in the locally made Foat Designs pants and Julz Marie tote bag ($60). Shown at right with Green by Green Dragon shirt ($80) and a necklace titled "Ease" by Healing Beauties Sacred Stone Jewelry by Helena Raghubir. There's also an on-site spa in case you'd prefer to have your knots worked out for you rather than do the "downward-facing dog."
