If you find websites that offer one daily pick too limiting, maybe you'd be better off with social-bookmarking sites. Their users share thousands of interesting Web finds, tagging them by topic to help narrow the browsing. You wade through the links to see what interests you, adding appealing ones to your favorites, and share your own discoveries. The site that coined the term "social bookmarking" is the cleverly named del.icio.us. (That's also its full Web address.) One of the other biggest such sites, Blue Dot, is relaunching Wednesday as Faves. Here are some social-bookmarking websites to add to your bookmarks -- for when you want to diversify online, instead of specialize:
del.icio.us (del.icio.us) Faves (www.faves.com), formerly Blue Dot
Digg (www.digg.com) StumbleUpon (www.stumbleupon.com)
Reddit (www.reddit.com) Furl (www.furl.net) Simpy (www.simpy.com)
