Good morning, commuters!

The first inbound trip on the Northstar Commuter line is running on time and due to arrive in Elk River in the next couple minutes. There, trains will shift over to the outbound tracks and it makes its way to Ramsey. Customers in Ramsey will want to board on the opposite platform for this run.

On the roads, we've got lane restrictions in place on northbound 494 at County Road 6 and ahead at Fish Lake Road.

A reminder that the bridges over I-94 at Boone Avenue in Brooklyn Park and Lowry Avenue in Minneapolis are closed until further notice for repairs.

And the ramps from 4th Street and Hennepin Avenue to northbound I-35W are closed for road work.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
