Good morning, commuters!

The rush hour is getting off to a cool and gray start, but good news is that we have no major problems on the roads at this hour. Pavement is wet in spots.

Here is a note for those traveling in Bloomington this week. All this week starting at 7 p.m., both directions of 494 will be reduced to two lanes. By 10 p.m, the freeway will be reduced to one lane until 6 a.m. the following morning. On Saturday, however, the lanes won't reopen until 8 a.m.

Today, I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
