The Racine, Wisconsin-based company said it had a loss of 49 cents per share.
The outdoor gear company posted revenue of $91.1 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $40.7 million, or $4.05 per share. Revenue was reported as $544.3 million.
Johnson Outdoor shares have risen 12 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen slightly more than 1 percent in the last 12 months.
