1. Why did the site change?
As a multi-media company, the Star Tribune is committed to offering you the best recruitment solutions in the marketplace. Providing you with a highly effective and feature packed site with strong jobseeker appeal is an integral part of our suite of solutions. In order to find you the best candidates, we want to provide you the best site.

2. My company is new to StarTribune.com/Jobs. How do we get started?
Go to the Employer Zone to create an account. We offer two convenient account options: you may post jobs by using your credit card to purchase credits, or have an account representative set up your account for invoicing. Click here to begin posting jobs by credit card. If you prefer to speak to a representative, simply call us at (612) 673-4231 or (800) 829-8742 ext. 4324 outside the Metro area.

3. What are your business hours?
Our business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, excluding holidays.

4. I've forgotten my user name and password. How can I retrieve this information?
Click here to have your password e-mailed to you. If you need further assistance with your account, please contact your assigned Jobs representative. If you do not know who your representative is, please call us at (612) 673-4231 or toll free (800) 829-8742 ext. 4231.

6. Is StarTribune.com/Jobs part of a national job board?
StarTribune.com/Jobs is a local website, part of StarTribune.com, the area's #1 local media website. We do have national job board partnerships available to you. Contact your Sales Representative to learn more about increasing your exposure.

7. I've just taken over posting jobs for someone in my company, so we already have an account with StarTribune.com/Jobs. Is there someone I can call to help me get started?
You can contact one of our representatives at (612) 673-4321 or (800) 829-8742 ext. 4321 outside the Twin Cities Metro area. We will be happy to assist you with your recruitment needs.

8. We have multiple people on staff who will be posting positions at StarTribune.com/Jobs. Do they all need separate usernames and passwords? And can they all visit our company's home page at once? Or will each of them have their own homepage?
Some employers choose to have one account for their companies while other choose to have an account for each individual user. If you decide to go with multiple accounts all users will only have access to the jobs posted in their account. Please call your Jobs representative to help you decide which will work best for your company. If you don't have your representative's direct line, call the general Jobs line at (612) 673-4324, or (800) 829-8742 ext. 4324.

9. What is the advantage of being a Featured Employer on StarTribune.com/Jobs?
Featured Employer profiles allow you to market your organization to the job seeker and provide more information about the company benefits, in addition to your job opportunities. Featured Employer profiles also carry additional promotional weight by appearing on the StarTribune.com/Jobs homepage.
