Just like in baseball, it only takes one to make it count. And for Pam Lestico, the one Powerball ticket she bought for Saturday's drawing turned out to be a $1 million winner.

Lestico, of Little Falls, Minn., has been a longtime, but disciplined lottery player. She buys just one ticket for each of the bi-weekly drawings.

"I always said, 'Someday I'm going to win,' and I did!" she said Tuesday as she claimed her prize at the State Lottery headquarters in Roseville.

She matched the first five numbers in Saturday's drawing to become the fourth Minnesota player this year to win a $1 million Powerball prize. Sobhi Elgharabawi of Maplewood bought his winning ticket for the Nov. 18 drawing at the Robbinsdale Food Market; Jean Davis of Waverly won in the Aug. 23 drawing; and Greg Anderson of Hermantown won in the March 18 drawing.

"I was in my pajamas, jumping up and down and screaming," said Lestico's daughter, Kelly Miller. "She deserves it. She has a heart of gold."

Lestico bought her ticket at Casey's General Store in Little Falls, which is turning out to be a very lucky place for lottery players. Other big wins there include a $50,000 scratch-game prize claimed in September 2017, a $73,301 Northstar Cash jackpot claimed in March 2016, a $50,000 scratch-game prize claimed in February 2012 and a $25,000 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle prize claimed in January 2008, the Minnesota State Lottery said.

Casey's will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the $1 million winning ticket.

The winning numbers in Saturday's drawing were 25, 36, 37, 55 and 60. The red Powerball was 6.

Powerball tickets are $2 each and are sold in Minnesota and 43 other states; Washington, D.C.; Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
