turnbacktimeOK, so that last post about Drew Pearson was kind of a downer. But it did spark an idea that is part-downer, part-catharsis (and maybe 100 percent plausible, if and when time travel becomes a thing).

Here’s the question: If you could change one moment in Minnesota sports history, what would it be?

For some of you, it would be that 1975 playoff game referenced in the Pearson post. But plenty of other moments — Vikings, Twins, you name it — spring to mind.

I think if I had to pick one moment, it would be Brett Favre’s interception in the 2009 NFC title game. There was a heavy level of investment in that team, much of it on a professional level because it was such a great story. The finish … well, that was a great story, too, but a gut punch that I’m not sure Vikings fans deserved.

What’s your ONE Minnesota sports moment that sticks out above the rest — that if you had a time machine and could influence the past, you would go back and change?
