Reporting email abuse

Last update: December 3, 2007 - 11:06 AM

Stribmail's user agreement clearly forbids the use of Stribmail to send unsolicited commercial email (often called "spam") or to engage in illegal activities.

The Commtouch email system that powers Stribmail is designed to prevent such abuse, and Stribmail users have access to powerful tools that can block unsolicited "junk mail" from other sites.

If you encounter junk mail that appears to be sent from Stribmail, it is likely that the mail headers were forged. Nevertheless, you should report the apparent abuse to this address: abuse@mailcentro.com. Please include a copy of the junk mail with all of the mail headers intact.

If you are thinking about sending unsolicited mass mailings you should be aware that your Internet service provider may terminate your account. Most ISPs have strong policies against such abuse.
