Two men were wounded, one of them critically, when an argument escalated into gunfire Thursday evening in north Minneapolis, police said.
Minneapolis police said two men were arguing in the 4600 block of Lyndale Avenue N. when shots were fired. Both men fled the area by foot.
Shortly afterward, one was taken by private vehicle to a hospital, where he was in critical condition late Thursday. The other man was taken by ambulance to a different hospital with noncritical injuries, police said.
Late Thursday, police were still processing and canvassing the scene.
