Preview: The 6-0 Lynx will be looking to match their second-best start, the 7-0 streak to start the 2014 season. Minnesota, 2-0 at home, has held leads of larger than 20 points in each of its past two games, only to allow both Indiana and New York make things close in the final quarter. The Wings — playing their first season in Dallas after moving from Tulsa — have been without star guard Skylar Diggins (recovering from knee surgery) in all but one game. Dallas is coming off a 1-2 homestand that ended with losses to Atlanta and Chicago. The Wings have remained competitive despite Diggins’ absence.
Players to watch: Lynx F Maya Moore was named the WNBA Western Conference player of the month for May this week. Moore is averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. Guard Seimone Augustus has scored in double figures in five of the Lynx’s six games this season and has hit 10 of her 18 shots in the past two games. G Renee Montgomery had 10 points, four assists and two steals Tuesday in New York. Wings guard Odyssey Sims is averaging a team-high 18.0 points and is coming off a 23-point game against Chicago on Sunday. G/F Karima Christmas is averaging 13.0 points and 6.7 rebounds.
Injuries: The Lynx report no injuries. Wings G Diggins (knee) and Theresa Plaisance (ankle) are doubtful.
