Refugees tour Capitol

50 refugees from Burma and Nepal who attend the M.O.R.E. Multicultural School for Empowerment in St. Paul toured the Capitol Monday, March 4. They were there to lobby legislators in the school's district for bills on the minimum wage and education funding. They also received a first hand civics lesson on who the the Governor is, what the U.S. and state flags represent and how to say the word elevator.
