Florida Python hunt

Inside Big Cypress National Preserve, near the Florida Everglades, where pythons can be found, between Naples, Fla., and Miami, Jan. 14, 2013, wildlife officials began a one-month Burmese python hunt in South Florida. The "Python Challenge," is the first-ever open-invitation contest organized by the state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Pythons, a non-native species to the Everglades, threaten the ecology.
