The Land of 10,000 Lakes

With 10,000 lakes to our credit and still counting, it’s little wonder that Minnesotans have embraced the outdoors, no matter the season. We lead the nation in the sale of fishing licenses per capita, own more boats per capita, and no doubt catch more fish per capita, even allowing for those that got away. True, some people don’t fish, preferring to hike, camp, run, golf, swim, sail, skate and snowmobile (yes, we use it as verb). Yup, we like it here.
