Homeless in Hennepin County

  • Updated: January 15, 2013 - 10:32 PM

Some 50 homeless women sleep in an open hallway at the Salvation Army's Harbor Lights on most nights under bright fluorescent lights, because there's nowhere else to put them. The surge comes despite the work of dozens of agencies that spend millions of dollars on the problem.
