Hearing on Fire dept. budget cuts

Sen. Patricia Torres Ray (DFL-Minneapolis) will hosted a hearing on how injuries to Minneapolis firefighters at the recent Walker Community United Methodist Church were, in part, the result of cuts to public funding to fire departments. The purpose of the hearing was to draw attention to how under-staffed and under-funded fire departments put our community and our firefighters at risk.
