Voter ID passed by Senate.

The Minnesota Senate is set to give the voter ID constitutional amendment its final push to November's statewide ballot. The Senate is taking up the amendment in its floor session Wednesday. The House passed it shortly after midnight, in a 72-57 vote that fell straight on straight party lines with Republicans in favor and Democrats opposed.
