The Capitals got three goals in a 5:42 span of the second to tie it at 4-4.

St. Louis 4, Colorado 3 (OT): Ryan O'Reilly won it for the Blues with a shorthanded goal 2:05 into overtime.

Pittsburgh 5, Boston 3: Jake Guentzel tipped in Kris Letang's shot in the third period, after the visiting Bruins had tied it with two goals 54 seconds apart.

New Jersey 5, Vegas 4 (OT): Nico Hischier scored the winner 41 seconds into overtime for the host Devils, who trailed 3-0 midway through the first period.

Edmonton 4, Philadelphia 1: Conor McDavid scored twice and Leon Draisaitl added three assists.

Winnipeg 4, Chicago 3 (OT): Mark Scheifele scored 50 seconds into overtime in the Jets' fourth straight win.

Arizona 4, N.Y. Rangers 3 (OT): Derek Stepan scored the winner off the crossbar with 32 seconds left in OT.
