The Friday commute is off to a good start with no major delays reported on metro area roads.

The only pockets of minor congestion are on 35W south at County Road 96 in Arden Hills and on north 494 near County Road 6 in Plymouth.

Tim Harlow covers traffic and transportation issues in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and likes to get out of the office, even during rush hour. He also covers the suburbs in northern Hennepin and all of Anoka counties, plus breaking news and weather.
