Critic's picks: Friday

Lifeline leader

He can't dance (don't ask him), but former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay still considers himself a nimble fellow, at least in the brains department. The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant winds up his weeklong stint on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" (4 p.m. today, KSTP, Ch. 5) as the in-house expert.

Gonna Sly now

Sylvester Stallone has faced Mr. T, Dolly Parton and the entire Vietnamese army, but let's see how he fares when confronted by his most daunting opponent: himself. Sly fans have a field day with the simultaneous airings of "Daylight" (6 p.m. Sunday, G4), "Rocky" (7 p.m. Sunday, Encore Drama) and "Rambo III" (7 p.m. Sunday, Encore).

Second opinion

I'd trust Dr. Drew Pinsky with my life (well, at least the lives of washed-up celebrities), but I'm not sure why "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew" (9 p.m. Sunday, VH1) houses male and female patients directly across the hall, giving porn stars and rock drummers an easy chance to ogle one another. The setup is some obscure form of therapy -- or a guaranteed twist to heighten the tension.

Hey, Paula

Who needs CNN? Paula Zahn, once hailed as a cable-news savior, may not be as high-profile as she was in her prime, but she has to be pleased with her new series, "On the Case With Paula Zahn" (9 p.m. Sunday, Investigation Discovery), which is consistently beating the competition on Hallmark, National Geographic and, yes, CNN, among women ages 25-54. The latest episode deals with the mysterious death of a young honeymooner.
