Dark Star, longtime personality on WCCO Radio, has been suspended for a week without pay after an obscene word was uttered during his show.
The incident took place during last Thursday's pro football picks, a bit that was pre-recorded. It was unclear whether any other employees were suspended.
Dark Star declined to comment. WCCO's program director Wendy Paulson said Dark Star would return to the air this Sunday. She refused to comment further. Star has been at the station since 1986 and largely spotlights sports during the evening hours.
