Tim McMahon's temptation got the best of him on national television, but the Eagan man still walked away from "Deal or No Deal" with a nice wad of cash.
McMahon appeared on the NBC game show Tuesday night in a taped episode, leaving with $13,000 after passing up an earlier offer from "the banker" to depart with $61,000.
McMahon landed on the show in Hollywood with host Howie Mandel by entering a non-winning "Deal or No Deal" scratch-off lottery ticket into a second-chance drawing.
"When the offer drops, your heart drops at the same time," McMahon said of his televised experience. "I'm glad that I was smart enough to get out when I got out."
McMahon is one of five players appearing on the show as part of "Lottery Week."
