YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES
Aside from his supporting work in the Will Smith-inspired sitcom "All of Us," I don't know much about Tony Rock, but if he's one-tenth as funny as his famous brother, Chris, I'll give "The Tony Rock Project" (7 p.m., WFTC, Ch. 29) a chance. The premise: Tony approaches people on the street and gets into spontaneous conversations. Most frequent question from strangers: "Hey, can I meet Chris?"
Don't look backLuke Perry has made it clear he's not planning to do a guest appearance on "90210," even though his legendary character, Dylan, is the father of Kelly's baby. He is, however, more than delighted to play a cult leader accused of child abuse on "Criminal Minds" (8 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) in an episode clearly inspired by the headlines out of Texas earlier this year. Actors, what are you gonna do?
Sex and the single girlIt says something about the quality of "The Sarah Silverman Program" (9:30 p.m., COM) when it pushes the envelope so far that its title character has an affair with God, but still gets Emmy nominations. Even more impressive: Getting Garry Marshall, the king of family-friendly sitcoms, to make a guest appearance in the first episode of the new season. There's also a new episode tomorrow in the show's regular Thursday night 9:30 p.m slot.
