"Buzz!'' successfully captured the game-show experience on the PlayStation 2. Now, it comes to the PS3 for the first time.
It offers more bells and whistles than its predecessor, including user-generated content, downloadable question packs, online play and wireless buzzers. The actual game play hasn't received much of an upgrade, but it's still a blast.
The basic setup remains the same. Players pick wacky avatars, outfits and buzzer sounds and then join an interactive multiple-choice quiz show hosted by the over-the-top Buzz.
While "Quiz TV'' can be played alone, the solitary experience doesn't do it justice. With the right combination of motivated players, audiovisual equipment and maybe even booze, "Quiz TV'' can transform your living room into something resembling "The Price Is Right.''
