Girl power

The film adaptation of "Annie" directed by John Huston wasn't exactly an audience darling when it came out in 1982, but it looks like a near-masterpiece compared with the Jamie Foxx version currently in theaters. Albert Finney finds new levels of grumpiness as Daddy Warbucks and Carol Burnett hams it up splendidly as the evil Miss Hannigan. 7 p.m. Sunday, VH1 Classic
