Sunday

Stars honor members of the armed services and their families in the United States and abroad in the two-hour variety show "America United: In Support of Our Troops" (8 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5). Janet Jackson, ZZ Top, Kathy Griffin, Clint Black, Toby Keith, Joe Nichols and many others perform.

Monday

Nickelodeon presents the animated prime-time special "Save the Bengal Tiger!" (7 p.m.), featuring the Wonder Pets, Linny, Tuck and Ming-Ming. The gang gets a call from a young white Bengal tiger in India with a thorn in its foot -- unable to accomplish the task, they call upon a mouse, Raji, the Puller of Thorns, to save the day.

Tuesday

The three-part documentary "Chasing Churchill: In Search of My Grandfather" (8 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) follows the adventures of Winston Churchill's granddaughter, Celia Sandys, as she explores the world to understand the private life of the iconic leader. Through photographs, letters, diaries and paintings, she hopes to learn of his dreams and anxieties.

Wednesday

"25 Years of Eleven Who Care" (6:30 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11) is the 25th-anniversary retrospective of the annual "Eleven Who Care" (9 p.m.) special celebrating the work of 11 volunteers for their continued service to area community programs. The retrospective will include updates of former honorees of past broadcasts. News anchors Mike Pomeranz, Diana Pierce and Julie Nelson are hosts.

Thursday

"102 Minutes That Changed America" (8 p.m., History) is a compilation of video shot by witnesses on Sept. 11, 2001. Footage from more than 100 contributors is pieced together in chronological order to create an archive for future generations. A short documentary, "I-Witness to 9/11," follows, featuring interviews with some of the contributors.
