Charlie Chaplin is in the TCM spotlight.

What’s my line?

When you look up 1993’s “Dazed and Confused” on IMDB, you’ll find Matthew McConaughey 22nd on the cast list. But his short appearance as a graduate who never grew up jump-started his career, which he acknowledges as often as he can by repeating the movie’s most memorable line: “All right, all right, all right!” 7 p.m. VH1 Classic

Tramps like us

TCM’s schedule all day is dedicated to the features and shorts of Charlie Chaplin, one of Hollywood’s more influential filmmakers. Don’t have time to take it all in? Settle for the excellent documentary “The Birth of a Tramp,” which focuses on the development years of the Little Genius. 7 p.m. TCM

The unknown comic

One of the biggest head scratchers in comedy today is why international star Russell Peters hasn’t blown up in America. Maybe his gig as a judge on “Last Comic Standing,” which wraps up its season, will change all that. In addition to crowning a champion, both Peters and Roseanne Barr will perform. 8 p.m. KARE, Ch. 11
