A special sneak-preview episode of “Under the Dome” airs tonight on CBS and offers a few nibbles to hungry fans. The new season begins next Monday.

Lawyers in love

David Boies and Ted Olson, the lawyers who battled each other in front of the Supreme Court during the ballot count for Bush vs. Gore, make unlikely bedfellows in “The Case Against 8,” a documentary about how the two led the fight for marriage equality. One fascinating tidbit: Helping bring them together was none other than Rob “Meathead” Reiner. 8 p.m. HBO

Now hear this

The Twin Cities’ Starkey Hearing Foundation is front and center in “Operation Change,” a 10-part series that looks at how the nonprofit organization uses celebrities to bring free hearing aids to people around the world. Bill Clinton, Elton John and Donna Karan are among those participating. 9 p.m. OWN

The boys in the bubble

Go “Under the Dome: Inside Chester’s Mill” as producers and stars revisit a highly successful inaugural season and offer a sneak preview of new episodes, which kick off next Monday with one written by Stephen King. 9 p.m. WCCO, Ch. 4
