All 'About Last Night' all over again

In 1986, when "About Last Night …" came out, it quickly became a cinematic signifier, chronicling romantic anxiety and gamesmanship (with Demi Moore and Rob Lowe). The year-in-the-life rom-com has been spruced up, even though its clichés — of commitment-phobic men and needy women — are hoarier than ever. The action has been transported from Chicago to Los Angeles, where Danny (Michael Ealy) and Debbie (Joy Bryant) meet after their best friends (scene stealers Kevin Hart and Regina Hall) drag them along on a drunken double date. Extras include "An Un-Romantic Comedy" featurette, plus "About Last Night Advice" (Blu-ray only). Sony, $31 for DVD, $36 for Blu-ray
