Mark, Paul, Alma and Donnie Wahlberg offer a peek into the kitchen in “Wahlburgers.”

Monkeying around

“The Funkiest Monkeys” could have been a side-splitting examination of the previously unknown rivalry between Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones. Instead, it’s a “Nature” documentary on Indonesia’s crested black macaque, whose numbers have dropped by almost 90 percent over the past 25 years. (7 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2)

The spy who came in from the cold

James Bond may be a dashing hero, but he’s also a bed-jumping, misogynistic, self-serving, irresponsible showoff. That side of him reflects the personality of his creator, Ian Fleming, who is portrayed with great gusto by Dominic Cooper in “Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond,” a riveting four-part miniseries that will leave you shaken and stirred. (9 p.m., BBC America)

Making their mark

Mark Wahlberg has helped put “Entourage” and “Boardwalk Empire” on the air. Now he’s spotlighting his own kin in “Wahlburgers,” a new documentary that follows the opening of the family’s restaurants in Boston. I’ll have the Marky Mark Meatloaf, please. (9:30 p.m., A&E)
