TV picks for Jan. 25-26:  Shaun White, "SNL,” "The Bachelor”

Shaun White prepares for the upcoming Olympic games in “Shaun White: Russia Calling.”

Getting on board

NBC’s pre-Olympics blitz continues with “Shaun White: Russia Calling” (7 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11), an intimate look at how the snowboarder prepared for the upcoming games. Sounds interesting, but I’d rather see an hour special on how he maintains that fabulous mane of hair.

King of the hill

Think about it: Jonah Hill now has more Oscar nominations for acting than Robert Redford. The “Wolf of Wall Street” star makes his third appearance as host of “Saturday Night Live” (10:30 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11), with first-timers Bastille as musical guest.

Wedding planners

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici try to prove that reality TV can truly lead to a happy ending in “The Bachelor: Sean and Catherine’s Wedding” (7 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5), the series’ first live nuptials. Kudos if producers can convince Dustin Hoffman to reprise his role as Benjamin Braddock and steal the bride.
