Religious awakening

Forcing Muslims and non-Muslims alike to watch all three hours of "The Life of Muhammad" (7 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2) might do wonders in our efforts to understand one another. Reporter Rageh Omaar does an outstanding job in bringing us one of the more revered — and misunderstood — men in history. Top-notch stuff.

Angie's list

"Rizzoli & Isles" (8 p.m., TNT) may have done away with Charles Hoyt, the serial killer who haunted Jane, but the show's writers have found a new way for him to menace our detective and give actress Angie Harmon a chance to show off her acting chops.

Prince Albert

Julia Roberts took home the Oscar for 2000's "Erin Brockovich" (8 p.m., AMC), but go back and rewatch it for Albert Finney, who plays her rumpled boss without a care in the world for dignity. The role earned him his fifth Oscar nomination, but he has yet to go home a winner.
