“Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman”

Go west, young man

John Ford may be the director most associated with westerns, but who was the true master of the genre? My vote goes to Anthony Mann, who is best known for bringing out the tough buy in Jimmy Stewart. Check out an evening of Mann’s finest, including “The Far Country” (7 p.m., TCM) and “Winchester ’73” (8:45 p.m., TCM).

Catering to their whims

Those “Real Housewives” can be quite demanding, as Roblé Ali is about to find out on “Chef Roblé & Co.” (9 p.m., Bravo). In this second-season premiere, “Housewife” Phaedra Parks asks the chef’s catering company to re-create a classic Southern tea party in New York City. And bring the attitude!

The stuff dreams are made of

Anyone who saw footage of Morgan Freeman snoozing through TV interviews last week knows that the man needs a nap. Maybe he’s spending too much time thinking about where life begins, which is subject of the latest episode of “Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman” (9 p.m., Science).
