Boomer Esiason and Aisha Tyler make odd bedfellows as they host "Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials 2013" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) or as ad agencies call it, "One Hour of Free Plugs." If this goes well, expect Tyler to move to "The NFL Today" and leave room for Esiason to join "The Talk."

Suburban spies

"The Americans" (9 p.m., FX), a new series about Russian agents who have infiltrated the suburbs in the 1980s, has the misfortune of debuting in the wake of "Homeland," a much stronger spy-vs.-spy series. Still, it's fun to hear producers recycle Fleetwood Mac tunes and watch Keri Russell recycle the martial-arts moves she learned for "Mission: Impossible III."
