A Stately affair

Kathy Griffin has long been a huge draw in the Twin Cities, so it's no surprise that she insisted her latest stand-up special, "Kathy Griffin: Kennedie Center On-Hers" (9 p.m., Bravo), be taped last month at Minneapolis' State Theatre. Expect the comic to be her usual not-so-Minnesota-Nice self.

And now for these messages

"Wipeout" host John Henson helps count down "The Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2012" (7 p.m., TruTV). Among the companies getting some free advertising: FedEx, Doritos, Old Spice and Canada's Fallsview Casino Resort.

Sent to the doghouse

Someone is finally calling Sheldon on his sexist ways. In a new episode of "The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), Jim Parsons' character has a forced date with the college's Employee Relations Agency. Something tells me this won't go well.
