I wasn't particularly looking forward to returning to Southfork, but just the sight of J.R. Ewing's oily smile got me hooked. "Dallas" (8 p.m., TNT), a sequel to the iconic series, is just as deliciously nasty as it was in the 1980s with some great new heroes and villains. You don't have to know the past history to get sucked into this family feud. Welcome back!

At the rate Michelle Obama is going, it won't be long before she's playing a French teacher on "Glee." The latest stop on her endless media tour: "Restaurant Impossible" (9 p.m., Food). The first lady challenges host Robert Irvine to rebuild Horton's Kids, a Washington, D.C., community center that serves after-school meals to kids. If successful, Irvine will be commissioned to bring peace to the Middle East.
