The Valediction, featuring I AM WATER

Artists Jamboree Saturday: At the center of this sprawling, monthlong celebration is that most vital substance: water. Artist Camille Gage is taking over the gallery as a showplace for readings, performances, installations and an exhibition exploring our dependence on water and its inspirational, ever-changing beauty. Saturday’s “jamboree” will include participatory screen printing, poetry writing-and-reading, a light event and a party. Ongoing gallery events include drumming, readings, artmaking, interactive sculpture and an information kiosk. Participating artists include Kara Faye Gregory, Molly Von Avery, Julia Nerbonne, Juliet Patterson, Ananya Chatterjea, Ta-coumba Aiken, Sharon Day and many others. (7-9 p.m. Sat., free. Exhibit ends Dec. 7. Form + Content Gallery, 210 N. 2nd St., Mpls. 612-463-1151 or www.formandcontent.org)
