PRINT PROFS

Continuing: A savvy art student could learn a lot from the 17 talented art professors whose etchings, lithographs and screen prints are featured in "Print Profs." They teach at 14 colleges and universities throughout Minnesota and apply their expressive skills to subjects as varied as darkened landscapes (Heidi Goldberg), slave transport and history (Fred Hagstrom), nature's poetic chaos (Stephanie Hunder and friends), conceptual romance (Lynn Bollman), political pollution (Ruthann Godollei), color blindness (Rick Love and Heather Nameth Bren), exquisite miniature books (Jody Williams) and portraiture, as seen here in John Volk's "Brother Mine." And there's more, much more in this smart display. (Ends April 6, free. Highpoint Center for Printmaking, 912 W. Lake St., Mpls. 612-871-1326 or www.highpointprintmaking.org) Mary Abbe
