'WAITING FOR GODOT'

Opening Friday: Director Bain Boehlke has assembled an auspicious cast for the Jungle Theater's new production of Samuel Beckett's masterwork. Jim Lichtscheidl and Nathan Keepers play the nomadic waifs Estragon and Vladimir; Allen Hamilton is the weary but brutish Pozzo, and Charles Schuminski portrays the ironically named Lucky. "Godot" has fascinated and perplexed audiences with Beckett's investigation of human relationships and the suffocating demands of life. (8 p.m. Fri.-Sat., 2 & 7:30 p.m. next Sun. $18-$38. Ends Sept. 30. Jungle Theater, 2951 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls. 612-822-7063 or www.jungletheater.com)
