Opens Friday 4/13
Sensitive director Jon Cranney, formerly head of the Children's Theatre, stages Tennessee Williams' often-produced 1945 memory play for Yellow Tree Theatre in Osseo. Cranney has cast Katherine Ferrand (right), a well-known Twin Cities performer who also is his wife, as fearful, overbearing mother Amanda Wingfield. He also has tapped Jason Peterson for the role of troubled poet Tom and Carolyn Trapskin as Amanda's lame, childlike 24-year-old daughter Laura. (7:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat.; 2 p.m. next Sun. $17-$23. Ends May 6. 320 5th Av. SE., Osseo. 763-493-8733.)
