ZENON DANCE

Thursday-next Sunday: Zenon Dance Company returns for its 27th season with three promising premieres. Buzz-worthy New York choreographer Sydney Skybetter unveils "The Laws of Falling Bodies" with music by Jonny Greenwood. Judith James Ries offers a new duet giving Mary Ann Bradley and Greg Waletski plenty to groove about while referencing her many years with jazz master Danny Buraczeski. And Emilie Plauché Flink's "Filament" is a new solo about personal illumination set to an original composition by Michelle Kinney, performed on alternate weekends by recent Sage Award-winner Tamara Ober and Bradley. Works by Andrea Miller and the duo Megan McClellan and Brian Sostek round out the show. (8 p.m. Thu.-Sat., 7 p.m. next Sun. $28. Ends Nov. 29. Ritz Theater, 345 13th Av. NE., Mpls. 612-436-1129 or www.ritzdolls.com.)
