Two for the show ...

In "When We Are Married," three couples celebrating their silver wedding anniversaries find out that they were improperly wed. Hilarity ensues.

There are no doubts about the 2006 nuptials of actors Tracey Maloney and Kris Nelson; their ceremony was officiated by Sally Wingert, who plays Lottie Grady in "Married." She got a minister's certification online so that she would have the proper credentials.

Her "Married" co-star, Peter Michael Goetz, who appeared in both "Father of the Bride" movies, is also getting into the marriage-making business. Goetz is to marry the winning couple for the Guthrie's $60,000 wedding giveaway (vote on the five finalists at www.mspmag.com/weddings). The ceremony is to take place onstage at the Guthrie on Aug. 16.

"As we're doing this little comedy about the fissures in wedding bliss, all of these young hopefuls are out" on the riverfront making their videos, said Wingert. "It makes me sigh."

"Me, too, yes, sigh," said Goetz.

"We old grouchies, looking at these youngsters with their smiles and flowers," said Wingert. "It's kind of like the harpies circling."

"Little do they know, I want to tell them," said Goetz.

"Nah, let them hang onto their hope and innocence," said Wingert. "They'll need every bit of it."
