1978 The company opens its first show, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," with founders Dominique Serrand, Vincent Gracieux and Barbra Berlovitz, touring in a bus to various chateau gardens in France.
1979 First show in Minneapolis, "Cirque de Molière."
1980 First big hit, "1929," tours an international theater fest in France.
1983 Steve Epp joins the company.
1985 "Yang Zen Froggs."
1989 "1789: The French Revolution."
1992 Moves into former Allied Van Lines cold storage building, opens "Children of Paradise: Shooting a Dream."
1993 Tours "The Green Bird" to the Yale Repertory Theatre.
1994 Tours "Don Juan Giovanni" to Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
1995 Sarah Agnew and Joel Spence become company members; Luverne Seifert becomes artistic associate.
2000 A sublime production of "The Magic Flute" breaks box-office records.
2001 Premiere of the company's elemental "Hamlet" under guest director Paddy Hayter. The revival opens two years later at the New Victory Theatre in New York.
2004 "The Miser" tours.
2005 Regional Tony Award given to Jeune Lune.
2006 Five-way artistic leadership team disbands, with Dominique Serrand becoming artistic director, and Steve Epp becoming a company member. Robert Rosen, Barbra Berlovitz and Vincent Gracieux leave.
2007 Company reveals that it is laboring under debt of nearly $1 million.
2008 Jeune Lune announces it will cease operations and sell its building.
