'MRS. PIGGLE WIGGLE'
'MRS. PIGGLE WIGGLE'
Opening: It's Autumn's turn -- Autumn Ness, that is. After nailing many a supporting role at the Children's Theatre over the past few years, including the zany mother bird in "Seussical" and another twittery avian in "A Year With Frog and Toad," Ness is leaping into the lead of "The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle." She stars as a woman who lives in an upside-down house and has cures for the things that ail children, including Answer-Backeritis and Heedless Breakerosis. Peter Brosius revives his 2004 production, adapted by Chad Henry from Betty MacDonald's popular children's books. (Previews 7 p.m. Tue.-Thu. Opens 7:30 p.m. Fri., 2 & 7:30 p.m. Sat., 2 & 5 p.m. next Sun. $13-$34. Ends June 15. Children's Theatre, 2400 3rd Av. S., Mpls. 612-874-0400.)
