Still the first concert scheduled at TCF Bank Stadium, it will now be the last date on the band's North American tour.

U2's 360º Tour, take 2: Rock's costliest tour ever -- which grew even more expensive with the cancellation of this summer's North American shows -- will finally come to TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on July 23. That's July 23, 2011, a Saturday.

U2 was forced to reschedule its 2010 dates when frontman Bono underwent emergency back surgery May 21. Tour promoter Live Nation announced the new dates Tuesday morning.

Previously scheduled midway through the North American jaunt on June 27, Minneapolis will now be the final show on that leg of the tour, which will resume May 21, 2011, in Denver. The band is also playing European dates this fall, and thus could not reschedule its outdoor stadium tour then.

The concert is scheduled to be the first at TCF Bank Stadium. Ticket refunds are being offered to those who cannot make the July 23 date, but no word yet on if and when new tickets might go on sale.
